Overview
Pose estimation detects the positions of body parts (keypoints) and their connections (skeleton) to understand body configuration and movement. This enables applications from fitness tracking to industrial ergonomics assessment.
We implement both 2D pose estimation (keypoints in image coordinates) and 3D pose estimation (keypoints in world coordinates). Our models handle multi-person scenarios, occlusions, and unusual poses. Beyond humans, we develop pose estimation for animals, hands, faces, and custom articulated objects.
Pose estimation powers action recognition, gesture interfaces, sports analysis, animation, and ergonomic assessment. We optimize for real-time performance on edge devices while maintaining the accuracy needed for biomechanical analysis.
Capabilities
What we can achieve with pose estimation
Multi-Person 2D Pose
Detect body keypoints for all people in crowded scenes simultaneously, handling occlusions and overlapping bodies.
3D Pose Reconstruction
Estimate 3D joint positions from monocular images or multiple camera views for biomechanical analysis and motion capture.
Hand Pose Estimation
Precise detection of 21 hand keypoints for gesture recognition, sign language understanding, and hand-object interaction.
Full Body + Hands + Face
Unified estimation of whole-body pose including body, hands, and facial landmarks for complete human digitization.
Animal Pose Estimation
Detect keypoints for various animal species including quadrupeds, birds, and marine animals for behavior and health analysis.
